Games I Play (GIP)

This is one of the games I currently waiting for, “Street Fighter x Tekken”. This video shows the characters in Street Fighter (Chun-Li and Cammy) and in Tekken (Asuka and Lily). I’ll type in the summary of the video just for kicks. You’ll see that Asuka is fending off Chun-Li and Cammy alone. Asuka can’t handle both of them and started to get her ass kicked, then some unexpected help have  arrived. Lily, Asuka’s rival, helped herand made the battle an equal match. At the end, Lily left the area w/o finishing it battle. Well, that’s the summary, hope that was all right.

Street Fighter is the very first fighting game I played, but I just mashed my way to victory. I forgot the title of the version of the Street Fighter, but I played it in my cousin’s computer. There was no emulators back then so I guess it’s that version was made for PC, whatever.

So, even though Tekken is a 3D fighting game, they’re gonna use 2D fighting style of Street Fighter with slight changes (like ground bounce, wall bounce, etc…) for making the combo more long and awesome. When I played Street Fighter when I was young, there was no such thing as combos and stuff. I wasn’t really a fan of Street Fighter (but I like the animated series) or play it because some gamers says that the combo system of the game is boring. I guess that comment on the game hit me and didn’t bothered to play it, but when I saw the logo…

I said to myself, “I’ll play this game no matter what!!”.

The release date is in somewhere around March this year. I hope it won’t be postponed! That’s all for now!

Just an awesome video of Tekken Tag 2. I can’t wait for the official release of the game in the consoles. This feeling I am feeling right now is like the feeling I got when I was waiting for UMVC3 last year of November. I never really played the first Tekken Tag though and only started to seriously play it when Tekken Dark Resurrection was released in PSP. I actually played Tekken 3 when I was very young, but let’s save that story for another time. Anyway, my main character in Tekken 6 BR is Xiao Yu and I having trouble on whom should I choose for her partner. That’s all for now.
